The recalled products are inSold in the United States between December 2019 and June 2022, about 2,400 units were sold for about $11。So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported。The CPSC recommends that use of the product should be discontinued immediately and that Vaenait Baby be contacted for a full refund。

On January 19, 2023, the CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made helmets。The recall affects three Sakar International helmet models: Tony Hawk, Credhedz Lizard and Crayola Dry-Erase。The Tony Hawk multipurpose helmet is sold in a variety of colors with black straps and buckles。The white warning label on the inside of the helmet has one of the following product numbers in the upper right corner:AGE251TH-GCRM, AGE251TH-NCRM, AGE251TH-BKMT, AGE251TH-BLU-T30-12, AGE251TH-RBW, AGE22SLDTH-BLK, or ACTGEAR242TH-GRN。The Credhedz Lizard multi-purpose helmet is black and has a green plastic lizard on top with black straps and clasps。The product number ActGear 241-LIZ is printed in the upper right corner of the white warning label on the inside of the helmet。The Crayola Dry-Erase multipurpose helmet is white with black straps and clasps and comes with a pack of 5 markers。The product number ACTGEAR242071 is printed in the upper right corner of the white warning label on the inside of the helmet。The product does not meet the position stability and retention system requirements of the CPSC Federal Safety Standard for bicycle helmets and may not protect the head in the event of a collision, posing a risk of head injury。
